AdviseCCR High School Fellowship & Youth Apprenticeship Program: The goal of the program is to identify (50) rising non-public/underserved high school juniors/seniors seeking a wide range of career and postsecondary planning guidance and resources. AdviseCCR creates a supportive landing space for students and families to connect with expert guidance, resources and opportunities in their path to self-discovery. To support our national model, sessions are held both virtually and in-person in select sites.
The AdviseCCR Fellows receive a student-centered approach focused deeply towards building the kind of trusting, long-term relationships that are essential for creating successful post-graduation plans. Our team works with students and tracks their planning throughout the conclusion of high school. We offer individualized guidance for:
Personal interest and identity development
Exploring pathways, regional youth apprenticeships, and career options
Researching and applying for postsecondary programs
Financing planning through financial aid, scholarships, and budgeting
Preparing to enter the workforce, including help with job searches, resumes and interviewing
